Established in 1994 by the visionary S. Ashok Kumar, HMVK has been a beacon of hope for countless families. The organization's mission is to provide free boarding, education, and support to children with mental disabilities, ensuring they receive the care and nurturing they deserve
S. Ashok Kumar, the founder of HMVK, was a compassionate and dedicated individual committed to making a difference in the lives of mentally challenged children. His journey began with a deep-seated desire to create an inclusive and supportive environment for these children, who are often marginalized and overlooked in society. Under his leadership, HMVK flourished into a sanctuary where around 100 students, both hostellers and day scholars, receive personalized attention and education from qualified teachers.
Ashok Kumar’s unwavering dedication to this noble cause earned him widespread respect and admiration. Following the passing of S. Ashok Kumar, the mantle of leadership was taken up by Dr. Ramesh Busi, the treasurer of HMVK. Dr. Busi, a stalwart in his own right, has been instrumental in the organization’s growth and development since its inception. His deep understanding of the challenges faced by mentally challenged children, combined with his administrative acumen, makes him the ideal person to continue Ashok Kumar’s legacy.
